The Sumac Inn was our home away from home in August of 2016 - but much more than just that! Not only did this elegant rental give us the feeling of "being home" in the comfort it provided, but the spacious accommodations with its many sleeping options (bedrooms and beds), well-supplied refrigerator and dry goods, incredible views, luxurious furnishings and phenomenally-beautiful and safe neighborhood made it feel like a resort or lodge. Nearly everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation was included in this one beautiful home. Our three children loved the basement with all of its toys and movie options, while my wife and I loved the incredible kitchen and relaxing back yard. There is too much to discuss in this one post; but rest assured, if you sign up to stay at the Sumac Inn you are going to have a fantastic time no matter who you bring with you. We will be back for sure!

We loved our stay! We are moving to Colorado from Texas. We stayed here while we were house shopping. It was a nice relaxing place for our family to return to each day and relax! I also did not expect a fully provided refrigerator full of goodies! My 13yr old son took full advantage of that😜! Thanks so much Beth! We loved your home!

Beautiful kitchen. (With two refrigerators and two sinks). Lots of sleeping space. Nice deck in the back yard. But the location was really unbeatable! Minutes away from beautiful and free hiking including Garden of the Gods and ReD Rock Canyon Open Space. Close to Pikes Peak. Minutes away from every service you could want. Easy access to major highways if you want to travel further. The owner Beth was accommodating and very nice. Loved it!

First of all I would like to thank the owner for a wonderful stay.  Communication was always prompt.  The house met all our needs and the listing description was totally accurate, as we were in Colorado Springs for our son's wedding.  We had enough beds for our overseas family members, which permitted us to have some great times together.  Everything was well prepared and the refrigerator was well stocked.  The kitchen was excellently appointed, it felt like a home kitchen.  The living room was quite spacious.  We enjoyed the back patio for afternoon get-togethers and was so pleasant for breakfast.  The "information" wall helped us plan some day activities.  The location of the house was very convenient, in a very nice part of town, close by to downtown, nice restaurants and shopping.  My family loves to walk so they had plenty of opportunity to walk through the beautiful neighborhood and park nearby.  The only limitation we felt was the inability to access regular TV programming, but were quite satisfied with the Internet application, like You Tube and Netflix.  Overall,  we had a wonderful and relaxing stay and can highly recommend this property as a vacation spot.

The property wasn't as described; it was so much better!  Great neighborhood and Beth was an amazing host. Always in contact and kept everything in order.  We stayed a couple weeks and everyone had a great time with absolutely zero complaints.  Can't wait to stay again next year!
